With the warm days of summer behind us, we are full speed into the beautiful autumn season and cooler winter months. With the change of the season, not only is the weather changing—our skin is changing too! Now that the air is much more crisp and not as humid, it plays a role in how our skin looks and feels. We may not realize it, but the air and temperature impacts our skin in various ways. Here are our 8 best tips on how to have hydrated and glowing skin during the fall and winter.
Usually when we talk about East Coast vs. West Coast, it can get in to some heated debates about whose got it better, and which coast is the best. But today, we get the joy of sharing Fred and Lyan’s wedding, whom despite growing up on opposite sides of the country, were able to demonstrate that when it comes to love, there is no debate: love conquers all.
We are crazy excited to release another video, this time giving our prospective audience a glimpse of what goes on behind the scenes in the bridal suite during your special day. I’ve been wanting to do this for a while now, because I feel like it’s a great way for potential brides to see what we can bring to the table in terms of our services. Yes, it’s just makeup and hair to most common people, but I have a passion to make it so much more. We all know that on the day of the wedding, there is a fair share of nervousness and anxiety going around, because it’s a big step in the lives of each and every bride (including for their family members, bridesmaids, and bridal party). Therefore, I want to help bring fun, excitement, laughs, and positive energy in to the room to counter-balance it.
It also helps to have a GREAT bridal party to participate in the fun and laughs, so Allison Moore and her bridesmaids were just the ultimate video material. The group of sorority girls blended together perfectly, and made our jobs so much easier to begin with. It was almost impossible NOT to have fun with them, dancing, cracking jokes, and just having a good time, but also making sure everyone was gorgeous and beautiful, especially our bride Allie!
Check out the video below. I plan to make a few more in-depth videos, so if you have suggestions or feedback on what we can do for our next video, please share or let me know!
Big shout-out to Different Cloud Imagery for filming and putting this together for us. Also a HUGE shout-out to our team of girls (Nakia Hope, Lourenda Betlazar, Ruchi Karnwal, Kaysy Escalante-Gomez) for making this happen!
Halloween is right around the corner and there is so much going on during this time of the year. With the end of the year madness in full sight, the crunch to get everything done is full steam ahead. With less than a month before the 31st, people are already talking about their halloween nights plans and most importantly their costume! Costumes are a time treasured tradition and something that people spend a lot of time and energy putting together. While this is completely fine, we have put together some ideas that can be thrown together last minute…maybe with things you already own!
Hey there trendsetters! Now that a new season is rolling around, we want to share some cute and fun styles and trends that we are loving. Something to keep in mind when styling your wardrobe for the fall is to take the trends and make it your own. Just because these are the trends we see in magazines and in stores doesn’t make it the only items you have to wear. Take the style and add your own unique twist.
Let’s start off by introducing the color of the season which is oxblood. This is an absolutely gorgeous deep shade of red that compliments practically every skin color. This color is all over the magazines and is gracing the mannequins in store front displays. This is a beautiful shade that catches peoples attention, but it’s not too overwhelming. It’s a sublet shade that’s not too obnoxious or in your face. Not crazy about the color? That’s ok! Use it in your accessories or bag…it doesn’t need to be the focal point of your outfit.
